The iconic BMW M3 E46 vehicle is returning to Need for Speed. Developers of the video game confirmed that the popular car make from the "Need for Speed: Most Wanted" title is making a come back in the upcoming iteration of the series.

The announcement was made on the official website of the game two days ago.

"Today we are incredibly pleased to confirm that not only will this car feature in Need for Speed but you will also be able to customize it, completing the look from the original Need for Speed Most Wanted," the statement reads.

According to the press release, the BMW M3 E46 will be readily available and prepared for a drive in the Deluxe Edition of the title. Meanwhile, the standard edition, which is for pre-order, will get the Performance and Styling Packs.

Based from the name, the Performance Pack includes accessories that will help the player improve his car's performance on the road. Among the inclusions are an Engine Block, Exhaust and a Turbocharger, which will be made available at an earlier time to gamers. There will also be a Performance Sticker included in the content.

On the other hand, the Styling Pack offers items that players can use and install on their vehicles to set up its look. Rims, Splitter and Spoiler are just among the few on top of the Styling Sticker to come with the content.

While both will be available for the Deluxe and Standard Edition of the game, the Deluxe version will have more additional items such as exclusive skins, other stickers as well as a 10 percent discount in items for sale if purchased with the in-game currency.

The Standard Edition is sold for $69.90 while the Deluxe Edition can be bought for $89.90 at this link.

Meanwhile, developer Ghost Games announced that there will be five ways to play the game once it comes out. Players can choose Speed, Style, Crew, Build and Outlaw to perfect their driving dream, noted WCCF Tech.

The upcoming title, which features an area bigger than its previous iterations, will allow players to fully maximize the style and features of their chosen cars in the game.

"Need for Speed" will be shown at Gamescom 2015 and Electronic Arts is making the game playable in the event for the first time beginning August 6.

The title will be released for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC on November 3.
