In the latest issue of Total Film, Elizabeth Olsen sat down for an interview and revealed details about her Scarlet Witch costume in the upcoming "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Those who are familiar with the Marvel character know that she is not afraid of donning a sultry attire.

But according to the actress, director Joss Whedon will be going in a different direction regarding her costume. After all, if the director went with the original Scarlet Witch look, the "Age of Ultron" might get a different age rating.

In the interview posted by SuperHeroMovieNews.com, she said, "I don't think Joss ever would have hired me, honestly, if he wanted me to wear those outfits; I am not a professional athlete and nor am I a model. Wearing those costumes wouldn't be fun for anyone who wasn't those things. He already had a different idea. It respects and involves the comic-book character but it's different, more rooted. It's for someone today...Well, if someone walked around wearing what she wore in the comics, people would stop and say, 'What the hell...she thinks she's a superhero.'"

Although this costume-change might disappoint some hardcore fans, let's just try to understand it through the director's perspective. Marvel movies are generally family-oriented, and the Scarlet Witch's costume in the comics isn't exactly what people would describe as practical especially in combat situations.

But going beyond her costume, Marvel's Scarlet Witch is the sister of Quicksilver, who will also be making an appearance in the movie. Both of them are the children of Magneto. So does this mean that we'll see an Avengers-X-Men crossover in theaters in the near future? Fat chance. Fox, the studio behind the "X-Men" franchise signed a legal agreement which prevents Marvel Studios from categorizing the Scarlet Witch as a mutant and referring to Magneto as her father.
