Drama isn't new for the coaches, kids and mothers of the hit Lifetime television series "Dance Moms." The reunion episode was not so different, but this time it was romantic drama on set as Kira Girard's partner David Newman pops the question on the show last Tuesday.

According to Bustle, real estate agent Newman showed up on the set and asked the reality show mother for her hand in front of everyone.

"After three years I've been falling more and more in love with you," Newman told Girard in an earnest speech. "I absolutely adore your kids. Love them to death. I never thought I would do this, but it's right. Will you marry me?"

The overjoyed mother said yes, to the delight of Newman and the entire cast.

Before the show aired, Girard posted an excited message for her followers on her Instagram page.

The couple is expecting a baby, adding a third child to Girard's previous two (including Kalani Hilliker of the show). Later, the newly-engaged reality star took to Twitter to talk about her daughter saying the young dancer is "proud and happy" for her.

The happy news brightened up the show, but Abby Lee Miller dropped a bomb on the mothers by hinting her exit from the reality show. Speculation was already brewing after the strong-willed coach admitted to problems between her and Lifetime network, but the interview with host Jeff Collins further pointed towards the possibility of the coach not returning for the sixth season.

"I think that this has been a great run and I don't like what happened at the competition," Miller explained in a report by Starcasm, stunning the other cast members. "Maybe like 'Friends' you go out when you're on top."

Later she added, "I hope the children have learned a lot, and I would like to take everything I've learned and go on to do something bigger and better."
