"Devastation", the second DLC pack of "Call of Duty: Ghosts" will be coming exclusively on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on April 3 of this year. Cinemablend reported the new pack will feature four new multiplayer maps and the second installment of the fan-favorite, "Extinction".

The new maps are named Ruins, Behemoth, Collision, and Unearthed. In the first map, players will be deployed in a long-range combat scenario featuring a Mayan temple whereas the battle in Behemoth takes place in an excavation platform in South America. Collision features a container ship pinned under a destroyed bridge in New York. Unearthed, which is based on Dome from "Modern Warfare 3", is a map of an alien relic dig site.

Each of the four maps has a Field Order that allows players to gain an advantage in the battlefield. For example, in Behemoth, players can pilot a helicopter equipped with a rail gun and a volcano in Ruins can be activated to shower the map with molten debris.

A new weapon, which is called The Ripper, can also be obtained by downloading the Onslaught Pack. This gun has the unique ability to quickly transform from a sub-machine gun to an assault rifle and vice versa.

Aside from the four new environments, "Devastation" will also treat players to "Mayday", the second chapter of "Extinction". In the sequel, players will face-off against the Seeder, a new alien, as well as the hundred-foot tall boss known as the Kraken.

Eurogamer reported that the "Devastation" DLC will also make its way to the PC and PlayStation platforms. However, the release date for these consoles has not yet been announced.

As for the Xbox version, the maps of the new DLC can be purchased individually for $14.99. They can be bought as a bundle with the Season Pass for $49.99. Those who purchase the Season Pass will also get access to The Ripper weapon.

Those looking to try out "Ghosts" can download and play the multiplayer demo for free through Xbox Live starting today until Monday, March 10.
