"Thor" actor Chris Hemsworth shared his two cents regarding the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok." He said that it would be better if it turns out as "humorous" as James Gunn's "Guardian of the Galaxy."

The Australian actor -- who pretty much knew what could work or not for the film since he knew the ins and outs of Marvel Cinematic Universe -- spoke to Cinema Blend and said that the latest Nordic franchise could use a "sort of smart wit and unexpected kind of humor," just like the 2014 American superhero film.

"It was like off center and unpredictable, and I think we can definitely use a dose of that, you know?" the 32-year-old actor said.

According to the report, previous installments of "Thor" may have contained a few traces of humor, but it's not as witty as "Guardians of the Galaxy" since Hemsworth's previous Asgard-based films concentrated on serious toned "politicking and family squabbles." James Gunn's film, on the other hand, featured a harmony of "emotion and action" with numerous injections of comedic scenes, particularly that of Rocket Raccoon and Drax The Destroyer.

Furthermore, the actor said that the first "Thor" film have already missed the element of "naivety or fun or humor." As for the second installment, the film has gone regal and Shakespeare-like. But for this time, the actor thinks that it's better to have a change of heart.

"I think now it's time to go, 'Ok, cool. Let's try something different,' and Taika just had such a brilliant sort of take and funny kind of ideas about where we could [go], how we could do that," Hemsworth said.

Luckily, as Taika Waititi is slated to helm the third "Thor" installment, there is a possibility that the director and actor could jive regarding their preferences since Hemsworth revealed that he, himself, is a fan of Waititi's films, particularly "Boy."

As per Youth Health Magazine, the entire cast and crew of the film will start filming during the summer of 2016 and the cast has already been revealed.

Jaimie Alexander, who reprises as Lady Sif, and Natalie Portman, who plays the role of Jane Foster, were reportedly tapped for the film. The same goes for Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) and Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgård).

Meanwhile, there is still no confirmation if Ray Stevenson and Zachary Levi will return for the the film's third outing.

"Thor: Ragnarok" will hit theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
