Microsoft is making progress on their backwards compatibility feature by considering Xbox 360 games to be readily available on Xbox One's digital store.

According to Attack of the Fan Boy, Microsoft's Phil Spencer addressed a fan's question if Xbox 360 games will be available on Xbox One's digital market. Spencer answered, "We've heard this request and we are working on a solution."

If Microsoft pushes the feature, Xbox One players can directly download their games from their console's digital market and catch up with any game they have missed on the previous version of the console. It gives added convenience to players who would like to play past video games.

Meanwhile, Segment Next was able to give details on how to transfer Xbox 360 game saves to the Xbox One. Players who have invested their time playing games on the Xbox 360 don't need to let go of their saved games as Microsoft has provided a simple way to transfer these saves and make them available on the Xbox One. The one-time process is simple, provided you still have your Xbox 360 console with you.

In order to transfer Xbox 360 saved games to the Xbox One console, set up and turn on the Xbox 360 and go to Settings, where the System Settings prompt will appear. Click it and proceed to Storage. In the Storage, you will be asked to choose which drive you used in saving your games and you can select your saved games from there. Transfer options can either be Copy or Move to the Cloud Save Games.

In order to access the copied files, you will need to open the Xbox One, which will automatically download any new saved games from Cloud Storage. If you are not comfortable using the Cloud Save, you can also choose to transfer them to a compatible external USB and HDD, just make sure that they are 3.0 and 256GB. Now you can continue playing your Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One.

In terms of pricing the Xbox 360 games on Xbox One's digital store, Kotaku notes that Microsoft has not released a definite price yet as they want to find a price range that would appeal to consumers.
