A number of games will be added to the growing list of PS4 and Xbox One releases in the coming months.

Next-gen video gamers will finally have a chance to play the anticipated racing game The Crew this fall after it was initially slated to be on the market by fall of 2013. The delay was seemingly due to the fact that the game was not completely ready to be released just yet.

"From the beginning, we have adopted the attitude that we will not compromise on quality," Ubisoft said in a blog post in the fall of 2013. "As we got closer to release, as all the pieces of the puzzle were falling into place in our last push before completion, it became clear to us that we needed to take the extra time to polish and fine tune each detail so we can deliver a truly memorable and exceptional experience."

The exciting racing game is set to be released on not only the Xbox One and PS4 but Microsoft Windows as well.

Interestingly enough, another game that will be hitting the shelves soon -- Watch Dogs -- also went through delays. The game will be available around the world on May 27. According to IGN, the game was supposed to be released six months ago.

For those of you who prefer to play games on the PC as opposed to the game consoles, you're also in luck. The Sims 4 will be hitting the shelves in the fall, although the official date is not yet confirmed.

There are plenty of more games that we will be seeing in the coming months, so in the comments section below feel free to let us know which one you can't wait to play.
