When Timbiriche reunited four years ago, Paulina Rubio decided not to join them, but she may be ready now.

She recently tweeted that she teamed up with Benny Ibarra.

"Here at home with my brother Benny Ibarra, fixing the world. With music. The world is better through song," she said.

This led many to think that she would join Timbiriche the next time they reunited. She didn't elaborate further, but she has continued to tweet about having new music in the works. Others just assumed that the singer was only working with Ibarra, which seems like the most logical explanation.

She did retweet a post that mentioned Timbiriche.

"And the party has started for #GenerationTimbiriche knowing that @PauRubio and @BennyIbarra saw each other yesterday!!!" the tweet by Rubiografia said.

Timbiriche was first formed in 1982, and Rubio was part of the original line up. For the group's 25th anniversary, Rubio didn't want to take part in singing the songs that made the group famous in the '80s. Thalía, who joined in 1986 to replace Sasha Sökol, has similarly distanced herself from the group.

It's not the first time members of the band have teamed up. Soköl is touring with Ibarra and Érik Rubin. She was recently criticized for not wanting to perform in light rain despite Rubin and Ibarra assuring her that she would not be in danger.

Many of the group members have continued to have success with solo careers, and Paulina Rubio is certainly one of the most well known names.

But, as with most rumors, it seems the answer is to just wait it out. If she does eventually plan to join her ex-group, it won't be too long until she confirms or denies the rumors.

In the meantime, find out why she ended up in our worst dressed list.
