"WWE SmackDown" will start with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H in his first television appearance since attacking Roman Reigns at the conclusion of the last "Monday Night Raw."

Triple H appeared in the ring at a podium. He spoke about being part of The Authority and that he should be respected, or else others can expect the same consequences as Reigns. He promoted his upcoming match against Reigns at "WrestleMania" to conclude the segment. Reigns did not appear on the show.

An eight-man tag-team match was next. The League of Nations, including King Barrett, who hasn't competed in a match in several weeks, faced off against Neville, Dolph Ziggler, Sin Cara and United States Champion Kalisto. Sheamus delivered the win on behalf of the League of Nations.

Backstage, Renee Young interviewed Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens. He spoke about defeating everyone until Big Show appeared. After mockingly telling Big Show to retire, a match was scheduled for later that night between the two stars, but it was a non-title match.

The Dudley Boyz are next on the show, as D-Von Dudley has a match against Jimmy Uso. With interference from Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von won the match in short fashion.

Next, recap footage aired from "Monday Night Raw," showing Shane McMahon returning after several years of hiatus. He's scheduled to fight The Undertaker at "WrestleMania." The Undertaker was also announced to appear at the next "Raw."

Backstage once again, Chris Jericho and AJ Styles were searching for an additional tag partner for their six-man main event match against WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day. Jericho and Styles picked Mark Henry as their tag partner.

It was then time for Owens vs. Big Show in the non-title match. Owens won via count out after Show got crocheted by the ropes and pushed outside.

There were also developments in the Divas scene, as Becky Lynch had a match against Natalya. The match ended in disqualification in Natalya's favor, when Naomi and Tamina Snuka interfered. Sasha Banks appeared and saved Lynch. Divas Champion Charlotte then came out to announce a match between Banks and Lynch would take place at "Raw" to determine the No. 1 contender for the Divas Championship.

In another singles match, R-Truth defeated Social Outcast member Heath Slater with some assist from Goldust.

Finally, there was the main event: The New Day vs. Henry, Jericho and Styles. The match ended when Styles made Xavier Woods tap out with a Calf Crusher. After the match, Henry, Jericho and Styles celebrated.

"WWE SmackDown" airs weekly on Thursdays on the USA Network at 8 p.m. ET.
