NetherRealm Studios has confirmed that a new "Injustice 2" character will join its roster. The official website of the game states that the reveal will begin on March 30. There is a teaser image of the character but it is not enough to provide hints as to who it may be.

The roster of playable characters for "Injustice 2" is still growing. The game will be released on May 16 this year for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. According to GameSpot, the last character to be revealed as Black Adam whose reveal was accompanied with a video trailer.

According to the official "Injustice 2" website, 12 more characters will be joining the roster on top of the hero or villain to be revealed this week. The game is set to be released on May 16 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

There are currently 25 confirmed characters in "Injustice 2." The characters are a mix of heroes and villains from the DC comics and universe. It includes some iconic heroes like Batman, Supergirl, The Flash, Green Lantern and Robin. Villains like Harley Quinn, Bane, Brainiac, Cheetah and Dr. Fate are included as well.

"Injustice 2" is the sequel to the 2013 game "Injustice: Gods Among Us" by NeatherRealm Studios, Armature Studio and High Voltage Software. It was released then for the PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360. The sequel allows players to build their DC characters with weapons and items they get by playing the game. Furthermore, they also now have the choice to customize their character's looks as they progress through the game.

Furthermore, "Injustice 2" will remain the tradition of the first game with more cinematic storylines for new characters in the game. NetherRealm Studios are also the ones behind the famed "Mortal Kombat" franchise.
