Argentina will look to solidify their chances of finishing on top of Group F when they collide with Iran in their second match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Saturday at the Estadio Mineirao in Belo Horizonte.

Argentina kicked off their campaign with an impressive 2-1 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina on Sunday, while Iran settled for a scoreless draw against Nigeria on Monday.

A win for Argentina followed by a draw in the upcoming match between Nigeria and Bosnia-Herzegovina will give the Argentine squad the top spot in their group.

Argentina will be heavily-favored heading into the match, but coach Alejandro Sabella is not taking any chances, knowing that the Iranian squad is physically and mentally strong.

"It's a team that has to do with the Iranian culture," Sabella told Yahoo! Sports UK. "A country that has been through wars. A country that is physically and mentally strong."

Lionel Messi, who scored his second World Cup goal during their win against Bosnia-Herzegovina, is looking for more offense from his Argentine squad, saying that they should take advantage of their strong attacking options.

Messi, who is considered by many as the best player in the world today, is looking forward to creating more scoring options for Argentina together with Gonzalo Higuain and Sergio Aguero.

"We are Argentina and I think we need to concentrate on ourselves without fixating on who we are playing," Messi said. "We feel more comfortable with two up front and me behind because it makes it easier to counter-attack and, because we have more people in attack, we have more possibilities."

Iran, on the other hand, will head into the match with low expectations, but they also need to avoid losing by a wide margin in order to keep their hopes of advancing to the knockout stages alive.

Iran coach Carlos Queiroz will once again look to impose his team's defensive-minded approach, while also relying on their striker Reza Ghoochannejhad, who said that they should enjoy their upcoming match against one of the best teams in the world.
