Lakers boss Jeanie Buss reportedly got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, comedian Jay Mohr, and the pair could not be happier about taking their relationship to a new level.

She was recently sighted with a ring on her left ring finger, but the couple has yet to confirm the rumors as Buss does not want to discuss her personal life, including her relationship with former "Last Comic Standing" host Mohr.

In December last year, Buss posted an Instagram snapshot of Mohr kissing her, writing, "All is good @jaymohr37 - you are the best!! Which way is the moon?"

In addition, Buss shared a photo of them kissing during their friend's wedding.

"Happiness. Love. Joy. That's what you have given me on my birthday and every day in between," she said in the tweet.

According to reports, Buss and Mohr started dating sometime around 2017. They also frequently go to Lakers games together.

Buss was previously engaged to NBA coaching legend and five-time championship winner Phil Jackson. Jackson coached the Lakers from 1999 to 2004 and again from 2005 to 2011.

In December 2016, they took to social media to reveal that they were no longer together, per the New York Post.   Meanwhile, after being married to actress Nikki Cox for ten years, Mohr filed for divorce in 2016.

Soon after Buss's engagement to ex-Lakers head coach Phil Jackson ended, she started dating Mohr.

According to Lakers Nation, Buss and Jackson were in a public relationship for nearly 20 years. They first connected in 1999, announced their engagement in 2012, then ended it in December 2016.

Buss stated that she could not simultaneously give her undivided attention to Jackson and the Lakers.

While Buss and Mohr have yet to announce their engagement or post any photos from the ceremony to their social media accounts, it may soon change now that the information is out.

Buss, 61, became the owner of the Los Angeles Lakers after her playboy businessman father, Jerry Buss, who was the majority owner of the team for 23 years before he decided to eventually begin giving control of the organization to his adult children, including Jeanie.

In 2013, he passed away, and his six children inherited the Lakers through a trust that gave them control of 66 percent of the franchise.

On the other hand, Jeanie Buss's fiance, Mohr, 51, is a pioneer of the Christopher Walken imitation and has been married twice previously, most notably to actress Nikki Cox in a relationship that required two divorce petitions to resolve.

Besides performing stand-up comedy, Mohr works as the host of his podcast Jay Mohr's Stories on the SModcast Network and, as of September 2015, the daily talk show Jay Mohr Sports on Fox Sports Radio.

Buss, who used to be a Playboy model, stated in January 2019 that she co-produced a comedic special for Mohr without mentioning their close friendship, said Los Angeles Magazine.

Mohr revealed more of his emotions than anyone else. "We talk all the time," he said to Adam Corolla on his show in January 2020.

"Marriage is like the only thing next," he added.
