Following the actor's medical scare last week, Jamie Foxx has been receiving a lot of get-well wishes from his celebrity friends, including Martin Lawrence.

According to Fox News, Lawrence sent his thoughts and prayers to the 55-year-old actor during his Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony.

"Well, I hear he's doing better... My prayers go out for him every night, and I wish him the best. One of the best we got in Hollywood. Not only one of the best entertainers but a good person," Lawrence told Extra during the Hollywood event.

Steve Harvey and Tracy Morgan also attended the Walk of Fame event on Thursday with Lawrence. The "Bad Boys" star said he was "truly pleased" to get the recognition. Harvey and Morgan also wished Foxx to get well soon.

"I love Jamie. Jamie's a good friend of mine. My prayers go up for Jamie," Morgan told Entertainment Tonight, adding that Foxx is strong and a fighter, so "he's going to come out of it... stronger and better than ever."

Foxx's hospitalization surprised television host Harvey.

"I don't even really know what happened, man. I was just stunned because Jamie's fit... This dude, he don't do nothing, man. This dude is fit, so I was concerned, man," Harvey noted. "So I hope everything works out. I'm pretty sure it will."

Jamie Foxx Is 'Alert and Awake' as Doctors Run Tests

After spending the past week in a Georgia hospital for what his daughter has described as a "medical complication," Jamie Foxx's condition continues to improve.

Doctors are currently examining him, but a source told PEOPLE that "he's alert and awake" and "they're keeping him under observation." Multiple sources confirmed that the Oscar-winning actor is progressing toward recovery in a Georgia hospital.

The "Django Unchained" star was hospitalized last April 11 after a health scare. Foxx was in Atlanta, Georgia, filming the Netflix movie "Back in Action."

He was reportedly not on the film set during that health-related incident and was not rushed to the hospital by an emergency vehicle. While the actor is still in the hospital, Foxx's castmates and crew of the film "Back in Action" have continued working on the movie without him.

They have reportedly used a stand-in for some stunt scenes where Foxx was supposed to appear, and another individual served as his photo double. The actor last appeared on the set on April 10.

Aside from Foxx, the film also features Glenn Close and Cameron Diaz, who recently came out of retirement but reportedly wanted to retire again after the problems surrounding the project.

Cause of Jamie Foxx 'Health Scare' Still Undetermined

Jamie Foxx remains hospitalized to undergo tests to determine what caused his "medical complication" last week.

"They are running tests and still trying to figure out what exactly happened,' an insider told PEOPLE.

According to Daily Mail, little details have been shared, and there has been no update on when he could leave the hospital or resume filming. It was also unclear what symptoms the actor may have been suffering from.

However, the actor's condition was so critical that his family flew to Georgia to be at his side during his hospital stay.

"He's communicating now, and that's good news," revealed an insider, which may suggest that Foxx was previously unable to speak due to his condition.
