Police Were at the Scene 30 Minutes Before Shooting

Earlier, police officers had responded to the same residence approximately 30 minutes before the shooting took place, the San Francisco Chronicle noted.

They were called to address a report of a loud party. An 18-year-old female informed the police that the party was concluding, and they were attempting to disperse the attendees.

Despite an offer of assistance from the police to shut down the party, she declined their help.

Subsequently, a witness recounted that 20 to 30 youths arrived at the house after the police left, but they were unable to access the residence due to a locked front door.

Nevertheless, this group managed to enter the backyard through a side gate.

Moments later, screams were heard emanating from inside the home, and several individuals were observed fleeing the residence through the front door.

Witnesses and evidence collected by the California police indicate that approximately six shots were fired.
