Gisele Bundchen tops Forbes' list of the world's highest-paid models of 2014 for the eighth consecutive year.

The Brazilian model made an estimated $47 million last year, easily surpassing her closest competition by $39 million -- fellow Victoria's Secret Angels Adriana Lima, who models for Maybelline and Desigual, and Doutzen Kroes, who has deals with L'Oreal, H&M and Emilio Pucci. She even beat her NFL quarterback husband Tom Brady by earning $16 million more than his $31.1 million.

The 34-year-old's paycheck this year has increased by $5 million from 2013, thanks to her endorsement and advertising contracts with several major companies, including Chanel, Carolina Herrera, H&M, Pantene hair products and Oral-B in Brazil, in addition to the cut of sales she receives from jelly sandals she designs for shoe brand Grendene and her Hope lingerie line.

Bundchen has made an estimated $386 million from modeling since 2001. She revealed earlier this year that being on the Forbes' supermodel list is not all good.

"It's sad, because the people who write these things don't have my bank account details," she told MedMulher. "I do OK, I earn plenty, but not as much as they say. I have already been audited by the IRS because of this list, and truthfully, whether I'm on this list or not doesn't interest me."

Newcomers to the list include Instagram-favorites Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss and Jourdan Dunn.

"The first question from brands these days is immediately, 'How many followers do they have?'" said Ivan Bart, senior vice president and managing director of IMG models. "Models can be more famous than a lot of celebrities out there because they have such a large following."
