The recent Golden Globes 2014 was topped off by two major movies that got most of the awards night attention. August: Osage County

If you like a family melodramatic theme that can deliver some touch of sunshine, then this Meryl Streep-Julia Roberts film is worth seeing. It starts on a funeral that lets the Weston clan to all meet up at a homestead of their matriarch Violet. Both actresses were nominated during the recent Golden Globes 2014.

Saving Mr. Banks

This is a movie that portrays intelligent drama and takes the audience back to how Mary Poppins was given life to the big screen. It shows the hassles and troubles of Walt Disney, played by Tom Hanks, in getting the book's author to sign for the film adaptation and even turn it into a musical. The author, P.L. Travers was played by award winning actress Emma Thompson.
