Emma Watson is on the cover of Wonderland magazine's February issue, and recently admitted to the publication that she fell sick on the set of the upcoming film Noah after the director banned plastic bottles.

Darren Aronofsky encouraged an environmentally friendly approach, which everything had to be recycled or recyclable, that led the 23-year-old actress to drink three-month-old water after filming an early morning scene.

"I was so tired one morning I picked up a mug from my trailer and drank some stagnant water that had been there for the duration. I was so ill," said Watson. "Having no water bottles on set at five in the morning, when you're exhausted and delirious, wasn't ideal."

After the Harry Potter actress told Aronofsky she was "really sick," he gave her the permission to use the plastic bottle for the scene. "I turned round to the bus and was like: 'Is he joking?'" she added. "And there was deadly silence."

In addition, the director previously revealed how upset he was that the movie's studio, Paramount Pictures, had tested alternate versions of the project. However, he was very relieved to find out his final cut is what will be shown in theaters.

In the $125 million budget blockbuster, which also stars Russell Crowe in the title role, Emma Watson takes on the role of Noah's daughter, Ila, while Jennifer Connelly, who played Crowe's wife in 2001 A Beautiful Mind, plays the role of his spouse again as Naameh. Noah is set to hit theaters on March 28.
