Xbox One owners are now getting the upgraded version of KOEI Tecmo's strategy game, Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII with Power-Up Kit for the first time. Originally slated for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and the PC, the Xbox One will also be receiving the game on February 26, 2017, though only in Japan.

According to Anime News Network, the 'Power-Up Kit' is an upgrade for the game that gives new officers and new updated faces for the officers already in the game. It also updates the Fame, War Council and Battlefield modes. Initially scheduled for a December 22 release, it was delayed by the company, possibly to have an Xbox One version available.

The bundled package will retail at around 9,800 Yen (around US$83) for the console versions, while the PC version is set to have a 10,800 Yen (around US$92) price tag. For those who already have the original Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII, which was released in January, the Power-Up kit can be purchased ala carte for 5,300 Yen (or US$45) for the consoles, while the PC version will be priced at 5,800 Yen (or US$49). The Xbox release will be different from the other versions as well, for it would only be a Digital release.

As Dual Shockers points out, the Original game was released to the west last July via Steam, but only for the PC and PS4. The updated game may now see a release for the other two platforms, PS3 and Xbox One, one it reaches the west. This remains in the air at the moment, however, as no localization announcements have been made yet by KOEI Tecmo.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII is the thirteenth installment of the long-running strategy game franchise, which centers on the Three Kingdoms period during the Han Dynasty in Ancient China.
