At least four men were stabbed, and 33 protesters were arrested during Saturday's MAGA March in D.C. and other protests over the weekend.

The MAGA March was meant to dispute the results of the November presidential election. But pro-Trump demonstrators and counter-protesters clashed as thousands took to the D.C. streets their rage against Trump's lagging election results and legal challenges, reported Massachusetts local news MassLive.

Apart from protesters getting stabbed, police added that there were at least eight injured officers during the scuffle.

The MAGA March took place two days before the Electoral College is expected to vote on a president-elect on Monday.

Proud Boys Made Stronger Showing During Scuffle

In what was seen as a show of force before electoral votes get cast, the Proud Boys had a stronger showing during the weekend incident.

Many of them wore bullet-proof vests and helmets as they marched through the downtown streets of D.C. They were seen shouting at officers who blocked their path.

Several Proud Boys were also seen on video vandalizing at least one church and tearing down a Black Lives Matter banner.

President Donald Trump, who was surprised with the support, left the White House around midday for a trip to the Army-Navy football game in New York, but he still passed over the rally on the National Mall, reported TIME.

He was met with cheers as the Marine One flew by. Michael Flynn, who was recently pardoned by the president, was speaking in front of the crowd at the time and said: "Imagine just being able to jump in a helicopter and just go for a joy ride around Washington."

Trump also made a similar visit during a Washington rally last month. He waved to supporters as he was en route to his Virginia golf club.
