2K Sports has finally revealed the official trailer of the upcoming NBA 2K14 dropping in stores October.

With only a few weeks left before we can finally get our hands on the much awaited basketball video game, 2K teases us fans even more as it drops the first official trailer of NBA 2K14 earlier today. If you're as much of a basketball fan as I am, the vid will surely make you giddy with excitement for the game's release some 33 days from now. The trailer sure gave me goosebumps (I'm not exaggerating)!

Check out the official trailer below.

Setting the mood for some crazy b-balling was "Hate Me Now" by Grammy Award-nominated rapper, Nas. Notably, the beat may have been among LeBron James' choices when 2K gave him full control in choosing the playlist for the game.

Of course, being the cover boy of the new video game, there was a lot of King James in the trailer. Somehow, parts of the his clips also hinted on new and improved features of the game, including customizable accessories, improved in-game shoe graphics and player celebrations.

Also in action were Rajon Rondo and his infamous Euro-step shots, Ricky Rubio with a dish out to Chris Budinger at the three, Blake Griffin and his massive dunks, and James Harden, his beard and a three-pointer celebration.

Previous reports also noted that the NBA 2K14 will also include improved team bench celebrations, updated jerseys (including the New Orleans Pelicans updated uniforms) and Euroleague team inclusion.

Other in-game features and updates include:

  •  Crew Mode
  •  MyTeam Mode
  •  2K Smart Play Button
  •  Enhanced Defensive and Offensive Controls
  •  Improved Passing and Blocking Controls and Animations

The NBA 2K14 is already available for pre-order and also comes in a special King James Bonus Pack for Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox One. The game will hit stores on October 1.
