Apple users who have upgraded their devices to iOS 7.0.5 can now enjoy an updated jailbreak as well.

The iOS 7 jailbreaking group, the Evad3rs, announced via Twitter that "evasi0n 1.0.5 with support for iOS 7.0.5 is up on Evasi0n." The tweet, which came from Evad3rs member pod2g, was retweeted by the group's main Twitter account, @Evad3rs.

The iOS 7 Jailbreak was a hot commodity in the time leading up to the start of 2014. As people continued to ask the question of when we would be seeing a new jailbreak update in accordance with iOS 7, anxious tech fans started a crowdfunding website to try and help speed up the process.

Everyone was then surprised when the Evad3rs suddenly launched the new jailbreak right before Christmas. After a bit of drama and controversial letters about the group's issues with a new app store, the group decided to remove the new app store and things calmed back down.

The group has updated the jailbreak several times so far since the December 2013 release and the updates have helped fix issues such as one that was affected the jailbreak on iPads that were running on iOS 7.

Just more than a month after the new jailbreak's release, a number of people had already come up with a number of new tweaks available, exclusively for those who had jailbroken their phones. In the time since the jailbreak's release, however, there have been so many tweaks and apps that they are sometimes rather difficult to sort through.
