Cue the rage! Another Flappy Bird clone has been created and its release is drumming up all sorts of hate. The name of the game is Fall Out Bird and if that sounds familiar to you, don't worry, you're not crazy. Indeed, the game's named after the popular emo band Fall Out Boy.

Fall Out Bird is insanely awesome. Now if you've been living under a rock and don't know what the hell Flappy Bird or Fall Out Bird is, well, you should continue being ignorant. Just kidding, but seriously where've you been, bro? The Flappy Bird craze is lighting up the internet. In fact, Flappy Bird might be the most derisive thing to happen to video gaming since Rockstar Games split hot coffee all over our collective pants.

The gameplay is identical to Dong Nyugen's original. Think of the Helicopter Game and you'll be totally familiar with Fall Out Bird's mechanics. To play you simply tap on the screen repeatedly and release to fly up or drop down. Your objective is to move each of the four Fall Out Boy heads throughout an endless obstacle course populated with guitar necks without crashing. It you hit any of the necks you have to start over. The game is insanely hard. Naturally, the band's music play in the background.

So why would beloved Fall Out Boy create such a controversial video game? 

"We were over in Japan, playing Flappy Bird when it went crazy," band member Pete Wentz told Rolling Stone.

By crazy, Wentz is referring to the fact that the original game got pulled by Nyugen.

"It seemed genuine that this was not the kind of attention that he wanted," Wentz said. "There's a million Flappy Bird memes where it's 'I hate this fucking game.' It took me a while to realize that's how the Internet tells you it's thinking about you. You have to think about how in Internet culture, everyone that's loved is hated."

Wentz had to battle trolls early on in his career as well. The negativity clearly got to him.

"I had so many neuroses in my twenties," he remarked.

Hopefully, Wentz won't get bent out of shape this time around. It's only a game after all.
