Gamers can now look forward to something from the "StarWars: Battlefront" video game.

According to VG247, the open beta for the beloved galactic game will be made available from Oct. 8 to 12 to all PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users. The open beta aims to seek the comments of players, especially where technicality is concerned. The beta will also feature three game modes from each of the three planets. The game modes included in the beta features the "Walker Assault on Hoth," "Drop Zone on Sullust" and "The Survival Mission in Tattooine."

As mentioned on the "StarWars: Battlefront" website, the game's beta will not be the only one available during the period. Along with the beta comes the "StarWars Battlefront Companion" experience wherein players will be given a chance to earn credits for every challenge conquered.

These credits can be utilized in obtaining weapons and Star Cards. The "Companion" will serve as an app-like feature that notifies players about their game stats and appearance as well as gives them an opportunity to connect with friends who also happen to play the game.

Players in Origin for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation don't need to register in order to access the beta mode of the "StarWars: Battlefront" series/ However, the "StarWars: Battlefront Companion" may require a player to have an EA account in order to access the feature.

PlayStation users can find the beta, which will be released on Oct. 8, in the PSN Store while Xbox One players can acquire it from the Xbox Live Marketplace. Origin for PC, on the other hand, will find the demo at the Demo & Betas section of the Origin Store.

It is also important to note that any progress and achievements gained while playing the beta mode will not be carried over to the original game once it's out. A level cap within the game will only allow the player to reach level five. Despite the limitations, players may still unlock several items on the beta mode in exchange for not being able to climb higher levels.

Each game mode has its own limit of player. A maximum of 40 players can take on the Walker Assault mode, another 16 players for the Drop Zone mode and the survival mission can only be played by one or two players using the split screen feature of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One units.
