Anything can happen when it comes to the popular Flappy Bird game.

After starting as a simple yet addictive smartphone application, many people decided to copy the idea and create their own versions of the game, except with different variations of titles resembling the original one. In the latest turn of events featuring Flappy Bird, however, people have gone to new extremes. Someone has now recreated the game in physical form. Yes, that means a new version of the game is an off-the-screen game that is reminiscent of the original -- just not on a screen anymore.

To see for yourself, check out the Make Flappy Box website and watch as people try their hand at the unique version of the game. People managed to make a rotating gear inside of a box and used their artistic abilities to re-create the original template so it looks just like the original game. Gamers can push buttons with their finger to try and make it past the obstacles -- just like you would on the screen -- and when you lose the box closes.

As if we had not seen enough variations of the wildly popular game, this one tops the charts. Who knows if it will become so popular that people actually want the box, but nevertheless it is a creative new way to look at Flappy Bird.

As for the original game, Dong Nguyen has indicated his desire to bring the game back to the app store after he removed it due to a combination of negative responses to it, and an overwhelming reception overall. There have still been options for people to get the game via the iOS 7 Jailbreak on Cydia, and this gives you the opportunity to hack the game and get a smooth path to the high score without dealing with the obstacles.
