Apple to launch not less than six models of iPhone 12 in 2020

2020 is expected to be a big war for smart and android phone companies. Just before the year ends, many companies are already giving some hints and leaks about their flagship phones in 2020, and that includes Samsung, Sony, Huawei, and Apple. 

In a previous article from Latin Post, it was reported that Samsung Galaxy S11+ could be the best smartphone of 2020 because its features surpass the present models of the iPhone. Around November it was also reported in Latin Post that Huawei released its new foldable smartphone, 'Mate X', that immediately sold out in the market.

The battle of these giant companies has just begun. Before 2019 ends, Apple company released some information about the six projected models of the iPhone 12, and is projected to shock everyone, including rivals. 

According to an article published in Forbes, an insider from the Apple company reveals that 5G models of iPhone 12 are probably not going to have a major price increase. One of the reasons for this is that the company will efficiently leverage and shift more research and development. If this information is true, then this is a big win for Apple fans and for those who are waiting for the next product release. This will have a big impact compared to their rival companies that will also offer 5G devices in 2020.

Jun Zhang, an analyst of international brokers Rosenblatt Securities, revealed that Apple will launch not less than six models of iPhone 12, and that includes Plus and Max versions in 2020. The following are the models that are expected to be released in 2020:

  • iPhone 12 4G that has 6.1-inch LCD and with dual cameras
  • iPhone 12 Pro 4G that has 5.4-inch OLED and with dual cameras
  • iPhone 12 Pro 5G that has 5.4-inch OLED and with dual cameras
  • iPhone 12 Pro Plus 4G that has 6.1-inch OLED with triple cameras and Time-of-Flight 3D sensing capabilities
  • iPhone 12 Pro Plus 5G that has 6.1-inch OLED and triple cameras with ToF
  • iPhone 12 Pro Max 5G that has 6.1-inch OLED and triple cameras with ToF 

    • Zhang also revealed that 5G iPhones will have entirely different components compared to their 4G counterparts. Moreover, he also said that all models of Apple that will be released next year will have faster wireless charging speeds.

    Three things that you have to remember if you are planning to buy one of Apple's devices.

    1. Apple company is very wise in offering 4G and 5G versions of its phone. 5G devices of Apple will only be offered in limited quantities across the globe and 5G will have a significant price premium.

    2. Many will embrace and iPhone 12 because of its one-handed size which is pocketable.

    3. The new line up of Apple devices will certainly create confusion among the buyers because of the arrival of the iPhone SE2 which is expected to be called the iPhone 9.
